My mother, Alice Williamson,  reminded me of an incident she overheard many years ago.  My little brothers and sisters were playing wedding.  They had recently attended a marriage ceremony performed by my father, Rev. Paul Williamson, and had the routine memorized.

The young 'minister' intoned "Do you take this woman to be your awful wedded wife?"
