Urgent Gas Strike Update

If you're planning on taking part in the gas-out, the gasoline strike originally planned for April 7, 8 or 9 of 2000, circumstances have changed, and the gas-out starts tomorrow,  Friday the 24th through the 26th.    Here's a note from Theresa:

"Hey everyone, sorry for the late notice, but they have changed the the "gas out" dates, if you're interested in participating!!!

"Oil ministers from Venezuela, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia announced today that oil producing countries should boost crude oil production to bring the prices down again, which are the highest prices in nine years!  They have come to an  agreement to boost output, but the details of their meeting will be kept secret until March 27th....

"The 3-day "gas-out" dates have been changed to March 324th, 25th, and 26th!  Please don't buy any gasoline on these dates!!!!

"Please forward this message to everyone that has the old dates in April!!

"Since they're saying by summer gas will be $2.00 per gallon,  whatever we can do will only help us.  Last year on April 30th, 1999, a gas-out was staged across America to bring the price of gas down, and it worked.  It's time to do something about it again.  Only this time let's make it for 3 days instead of just one!!!

"HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!

Theresa"

Well, if you're going to do it, you may have to buy gas anyway tomorrow since such short notice was given.  But if you think this embargo is worthwhile, give it a try.   We don't want to have to steal the grocery money to gas up the old jalopy, do we?
