A Spice that can help you lose weight?

One of the ingredients in Curry Powder - turmeric - may help you with weight control. 

Mice fed this seasoning which contains natural curcumin gained less fat than those without the addition.  It may help with cholesterol control and fat-burning too.  This spice, common in India,  is both anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant.  There are claims that it may help prevent diabetes as well.   Turmeric is also available in capsule form.  Eating it with a little black pepper increases its good qualities and absorption by a whole bunch.
