For gluten intolerant diners, there's finally a mainline cereal with neither wheat nor barley, and guaranteed gluten free.  Celiac Disease sufferers with be happy to hear about General Mills Rice Chex.  Just make sure it's a new box that states "Gluten Free" on the front.  See press release.

We can only hope that more  manufacturers follow suit.   Better labeling and elimination of cross-contamination can benefit many families with allergy issues, also, both health wise and financially.
