Apple Upside-Down Cake
A Tupperware recipe, at the Sneaky Kitchen
cooking spray
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon-Vanilla Seasoning
21 oz./ 595 g can sliced apples, drained, or 2 fresh ones, peeled, cored & sliced
2 egg whites
18.25 oz./ 515 g box yellow cake mix
12 oz./ 340 mL can non-alcoholic beer

Spray Tupperwave Stack Cooker 3 QT./  3 L Casserole & Cone with cooking spray. Place cone in cooker.

In a small bowl combine melted butter, brown sugar & 1 tsp. Seasoning Blend. Toss with half the apples. Layer apple mixture on the bottom of the Casserole. Set aside.

Place egg whites in base of Whip Ní Prep Chef, replace cover, turn the handle & whip egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add other half of the apples (if using fresh apples, chop up first) & continue to whip until slightly mashed. Place the mixture in a Wonderlier bowl along with cake mix, beer, 1 tsp. Seasoning Blend & the apple-egg mixture. Mix together with a Saucy Silicone Spatula. Pour cake batter over apples in Casserole.

Microwave on hi power for 10 min. or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.  Unmold onto a serving platter, serve warm or room temp.
