3 large tomatillos (6 oz), OR ripe tomatoes (6 oz)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped cilantro or parsley
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 Tablespoons Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 large, ripe, California avocado (1-1/2 cup)
Husk and coarsely chop the tomatillos (or chop the ripe tomatoes). Peel and finely dice the avocado and measure to make 1-1/2 cups.
Combine tomatillos, cilantro, green onion, Tabasco Green Pepper Sauce and salt in a food processor container; process briefly until chopped but still chunky. Pour into a bowl and stir in avocado.
Serve with Very Verde Quesadillas.
