A recipe from the Sneaky Kitchen
Preheat oven to 350 F.
1 can (29 oz) pear halves
1 cinnamon stick
3 whole cloves
1 package (8 oz) reduced fat cream cheese or Neufchatel, softened
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
Drain pear halves; set aside. Put juice in saucepan; add cinnamon
stick & cloves. Bring to boil, then turn down to a simmer while you prepare the
rest of the dish. Combine cream cheese & honey; beat until blended. Fill pear halves with cream
cheese mix. Place in shallow baking dish. Strain juice onto pears,
discarding cloves & cinnamon. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
