A recipe from the Sneaky Kitchen
1 3 1/2-oz pkg. low-fat microwave popcorn or 1/2 C. popcorn kernels, popped by your favorite method
1 1/2 cups roasted salted peanuts
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Prepare popcorn & place in a lg. bowl. Add peanuts & stir to mix.
In a 1-C. microwave-safe measuring cup, combine butter, honey & cinnamon. Microwave on high until butter is melted (30 seconds to 1 minute).
Drizzle butter mixture slowly over popcorn, stirring with a lg. spoon. Taste & salt lightly if needed. Serve while still warm. If you make this treat ahead of time, you may warm it for 1 to 2 minutes in the microwave. Makes 5 to 6 cups.
