Crisp Rice Candy Squares
A recipe from the Sneaky Kitchen
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine (not lite!)
1 10 oz. pkg. or 4 C.  miniature marshmallows
6 C. rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
1 C. pecan or walnut pieces
1 C. raisins
1/2 C. semisweet chocolate bits
cooking spray (optional)

Break or chop nuts into pieces about the size of the chocolate bits. Mix cereal, nuts, raisins & chocolate bits. Butter a spatula or a piece of waxed paper. Spray a baking pan at least 13 X 9 inches square (or butter it thoroughly).

Melt butter in a very lg. saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows & stir until complete melted; remove from heat. Add cereal mix & stir until well combined. With a spatula or waxed paper, immediately press mixture into  the baking pan. When cool, cut into 2" squares.
