This creamy dressing for cole slaw  is easy to make, lower in fat and calories than some, and turns cabbage into a great  treat.  

Coleslaw Dressing

1 cup reduced-fat or lite mayonnaise, or Miracle Whip
1/4 cup sour cream           (Note #1)
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon coleslaw seasoning OR
    1/4 teaspoon
celery seed, and
    1/4 teaspoon
onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Accent                       (Note #2)

Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.


Note #1  If your priority is eating fat free, you may substitute fat free mayonnaise and lite or fat free sour cream, but it will affect the flavor. 

Note #2:    Seasonings are optional and may be omitted.   Do not add salt, as the mayonnaise usually contains enough.
