Here's a variation on my favorite holiday relish , contributed by Cheryl Shoemaker, who writes:

"Hi.  Here's a suggestions for Orange-Cranberry Relish.  People who don't like cranberries have tried this delectable concoction, and have been surprised with a new discovery for the taste buds.  Children and adults come back for more than one serving.  It is my 'signature dish', in demand at our family Thanksgiving dinners, and excellent to make any time of the year!"

Cranberry-Orange Relish with a Twist

1 1/2 pkgs. Ocean Spray cranberries
1/2 fresh orange with peel, seeded
1 apple, cored, including the skin
pecans (optional, amount depends on your taste)
1/2 to 3/4 cup orange marmalade
2 tsp sugar

Blend the cranberries, orange, apple and with pecans in a food processor.  Place in a bowl.  Add marmalade and sugar.  Enjoy!

Thanks, Cheryl.  I can't wait to try it!
