Tracy and Jenilee....I Was Wondering....

05/13/02

My friend and I are doing a geography industrial research project. We need to research, prepare and analyze a product. For this we chose Playdoe.  We were wondering if u could provide us with a list of producers- domestic and foreign, Company structure- private, corporate, head office, Historical or cultural significance, Industrial sector(s) involved, Process of production- raw materials required, Cost of production, Labor force required, Energy used, Environmental concerns, Modes of transportation e.g. truck, plane, train, Distances, Time, Supply and demand, numbers and descriptions, Pricing process e.g. value added to product from start to finish, Competition, Positive and negative influences ..taxes, tax incentives, free trade, Local, regional, national and international  levels.   If you could provide us with these things or some of these things, if it is not to much trouble, it would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you.

Bess W. Metcalf....Re-search

05/13/02

Like Charlie Brown, I sometimes wonder, "Why is everybody always pickin' on me?"

Girls, from the dictionary:  "re-search (re'-sūrch) n. Diligent, protracted investigation; studious inquiry."   Nice try, but that's what research means - you search, search some more and re-search.

For starters, you can use the search function better if you spell the product right:  Play Doh.   For those who want to make their own, see our recipe for homemade Play dough for Kids.  Incidentally, since I wrote this, I've heard about people using Kool-Aid to color the Play dough.  Smells nice, and certainly healthier than drinking the stuff!

Anonymous....Time travelers or aliens, anyone?

07/07/02

Hello,   If you are a time traveler or alien and or in possession of government or alien technology I need your help!  My entire life and health has been messed with by evil beings!  If you have access to the carbon copy replica model #50 3000 series, the dimensional warp, temporal reversion or something similar please reply!  I simply need the safest method of transferring my consciousness or returning to my younger self with my current mind/memory.  I need an advanced time traveler to work with who can help me, I would prefer someone with access to teleportation as well as a variety different types of time travel.  This is not a joke!  I am serious!   Please send a separate email to me at: ----@--- if you can help! Thanks.

Bess W. Metcalf...Would that we could....

07/07/02

If only it were that easy!   As our dear friend and Fuller Brush rep Ella Abbott told me about 9 months before her difficult end of life, "I don't like what my body is doing to me."  (She smoked very heavily for over 6 decades and wasn't real big on veggies.)  Just remember,  we have found the enemy and it is us!  And there's no going back, only forward, no matter what anyone (or anything) tells you!  (See Freedom.)

(Unless of course someone finds a way to travel backwards at above the speed of light all the way to Alpha Centauri; that might do it.  Only time will tell.)

The only aliens I know of here in Miami come at night by boat from all over the Caribbean.  Sorry.

I wonder if one of ChefAl of Great World Chefs minions had a hand in this.

ChefAl of Great World Chefs...I'm innocent (!?)

08/18/02

Sorry, Ms Sneaky - me [or my minions] ALWAYS sign our posts ,... for good or bad.

But does remind me, of a quote, I think from MICKY MANTLE, who said, "Hell, if I knew I was gonna live this long, I woulda taken better care of myself!"

Gwen....Litter Box

08/18/02

do u sell any thing i can coat my liter box with?   thank you

Bess W. Metcalf....Not sure what you mean

08/19/02

I'm not sure what you mean or what the end result is that you expect.  Do you mean a liner?  Or is it just hard to clean?  You do mean a cat litter box, right?

Daughter-in-law Nicole writes: I have just read and signed the online petition: "Don't Let Charles C. Benoit Go Free" hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition service, at http://www.PetitionOnline.com/delwin04/   I personally  agree with what this petition says, and I think you might agree, too.  If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider signing it yourself.
