I'm trying to choose the similar brush that I have from the 70's (I'm embarrassed to say). It's the white hair brush, 1/2 round, very stiff nylon bristles. I have tried the (stanley) Lady Catherine and it's just not quite right. Any suggestions? My brush seems like it's a little stiffer than the Lady Catherine.

That was a Fuller half-round boilable all-nylon hairbrush, which is no longer produced.  I used it myself until I plain wore it out down to a nub about 1980.

The closest thing to it, and it's very close, is the 503 nylon bristle brush.  It's half round and very stiff.  See it at http://www.sneakykitchen.com/fullerbrush/products/503.htm
