Can you give me some advice on getting gasoline out of clothes - blue jeans and flannel?

It can be done.  I've had the same problem with kerosene or mineral spirits.  First, don't wash them with other clothes or everything will smell like gasoline.

What I did, I put them in a pail with some hot water and a cup of Fulsol degreaser, and let them soak for a while.  Then I wrung them out, and ran them through the washer with detergent as usual.  Then if they smell pretty much okay, wash again with other clothes.  If they still have an odor, try hanging them outside to dry and air, and the next day wash again in hot water by themselves.
