Making an enquiry re the fridgesmart products.
I have some and they are great but I found some items do not keep as long as they should -- some condensation developes and mould develops. One more thing one of the tupperware ladies mentioned you can also store cheese and deli meats. Is that true because if so that would be great.
Hope you can answer my 2 questions.

A lot depends on your refrigerator temperature, and also on how you handle the produce. I rinse most of mine, not all, but I let them dry before I store them. The little vent should be open and unblocked all the way on items that you have a mold problem with. In any case, I keep carrots, celery and green onions in the long container, and also leave one corner of the lid ajar in order to let some more of the condensation escape.
As far as meat and cheese, these should be stored in a colder part of the refrigerator in Stackable containers, separately. See http://sneakykitchen.com/kitchen/products/prep_n_store.htm
If anyone else has this problem, and solved it, please write.

Hello, about that tupperware. Wash container with vinegar and water, should kill the mould, once you have mould it is very hard to get rid of. Do not wash your veges beforehand, chlorine and other chemicals in water can affect veges and how long they last, wash before use. Every time you use your fridgesmarts wipe the lid with paper towel or a tea towel, this will help keep condensation down(which is what causes mould and your product to break down).
Tupperware has Clear Mates (clear containers), This is for your deli meats, same rule with wiping the lid after each use. Awesome product, i always have meat in mine. Not sure about cheeses though. One more thing, allow container and product to cool to the same temperature in the fridge with the lid off (maybe 10-20min 4 meat a couple of hours for veges in fridgesmart) this really helps stop condensation. Hope this was of help. Nelly.
