The calorie count for the seasonings is so tiny as to be insignificant. This isn't something that you need to concern yourself about. The starches, sugars and most of all the fats are what count. If you blend the dip mix into fat free sour cream, you have a calcium rich low calorie snack. If you use it to dip potato chips, you raise the calorie count considerably. Pretzels less so, but very salty. Veggie sticks or tiny whole wheat cereal squares (chex) and you have a healthier treat. Mix it into low fat cream cheese or reduced fat sour cream and you still are cutting calories but not nearly as much.
In other words, it's what you use the seasonings for that should concern you. By utilizing high quality seasonings, such as Watkins, you can cook nearly fat free, or with a few drops or a teaspoon of healthier oil such as grapeseed or olive oil, or just cooking spray, and still have a tasty meal.
As for the ounces, that depends on the seasoning. Snack and dip mixes come in two sizes. For instance the large Cucumber-Dill contains 4 oz. The smaller Onion-Dill, my favorite, has 2.3 oz. Other seasonings come in the smaller bottles and range from just a fraction of an ounce on up to 4 oz. The cans of black pepper come in 6 oz. and 12. oz sizes.
