Hi all,

I remembered the days I was in  UK doing nurse training at the age of 18 .

I lived there for 6yrs. Meals were usually at the hospital canteens..... western food ...no choice. Beverage ... tea with fresh milk daily. Desserts...... tarts or puddings instead of  fresh fruits . Tea time ... cakes.

Chocolates were the favourite gifts from the patients upon discharge besides being a common snack there.

Day in day out , these food are consumed. .. obesity is unavoidable generally speaking.

Within 6 mths I put on quite alot  of wt.... my photos showed my face was rounded , etc.

Back to Asian diet B4 my return,I lost all that I ve gained.Till today I am about 46 -47kg.

Thus if U wish to lose wt. cook the Asian or Jap. food.... after all there are a variety of  food U can cook and enjoy.
