My Grandfather had three stalls at the "Farmers Market" I cannot remember exactly where it was but it was within walking distance of a burger king. I am trying to find out if it still exists.
There's a produce center in the area of 12 Ave to 14 Ave, and south of 23rd Street, mostly south of the railroad tracks. Many of the restaurant supply companies also are there, and that's the Miami hub of food distribution for small stores, restaurants and so on. The original Burger King was at 36th St NW and 27th Ave, the very first one, but it's almost two miles from the produce center. (It's a block west of there now.) Perhaps there was another farmer's market, or another fast food place back then. About what year?
