The best thing to do is to cook it yourself.  Get involved in food.  If you like one thing - try a related food item.  If you like Mac and Cheese - try Alfredo.  If you like iceberg lettuce, try romane.  If you know you like Chicken fingers, try chicken cutlet or Turkey fingers  As you find more things you like, you will find you are more willing to try new things.  Things you make yourself (where you know all the ingredients) are easier to try.

Good luck!

Hello Danielle,

You're not alone...I thought I was alone all my life (I'm 38) until recently when I found this site:

http://www.pickyeatingadults.com/

I think we all need to stick together as currently I really don't think there's any help out there as nobody seems to understand our situations...even "trained proffesional".

Hi ,

This post its quite sometime ago,I just wonder if you are still picky about food esp avoid food that is the classified as the worlds healthiest food?

Well I think its better late than never with my reply.

Well my daughter is 17+ now , and she is picky about certain veg.which I cook often.

but cant get her & the 12 yr old son to eat them even until now. So U aint alone.

I wrote the recipe book after I found a way to get picky eaters consume what I would like them to consume  , easily yet enjoying it( the healthy food of course).

If you want to know more just see my homepage or website below.Hope this helps
