I am cooking a Ouzo-rosemary shrimp on lemon orzo for my mother's birthday. She is quite the wine expert. What wine would be best to serve with this dish?

Are you absolutely married to an Ouzo for your shrimp ???  Very Greek :D:D:D !

Maybe a pinot gris or lightly oaked semillon. It may partner well with Italian white varieties of arneis and garganega.

Also consider Hornsby's Crisp Apple Hard Cider [Plan B], or a crisp Belgium pilsner beer. [Plan c]

You can be assured - your family wine expert would be bamboozled trying to pair wine with ouzo ,.... [and yes, 'bamboozled' is a technical term used by chefs worldwide].

:dude:

your pal, chefal
