Where To Use
the Household Broom
- Use on smooth floors or irregular ones.
- Great inside or out.
- Use on patios, porches and pool surrounds.
How To Use the Houshold
Broom
- Indoors, always pull or drag the broom towards
you with a smooth action to gather dirt and fine dust.
- Outdoors may need a more vigorous action to penetrate
cracks and remove larger debris.
- NEVER "push" the broom away from
you; this flips up fine dust into the air, which later settles back
on the floor and on furniture, as well as becoming a breathing hazard.
Pushing the broom also destroys the bristles.
How To Maintain
the Household Broom
- Hang broom up using hang-up loop so that there is no pressure on
the bristles.
- Clean in hot soapy water, rinse and air dry.

- Handle: 38 3/4" long, 2 pc., Smoke Gray Steel
- Type of Bristle: Dark Brown polypropylene, red stitching
Caring for Hard Surface Floors: Sweep floors as needed
to remove loose soil and dirt particles. If the floor is waxed, dust
with a dust mop to remove fine particles and restore shine. Wipe up
soils as they occur. Damp mop occasionally to remove fine dirt. Clean
or wash the floor as needed, using a Fulsol Degreaser
solution or Labor Saver Floor Cleaner.
Rinse the floor after mopping and let it dry thoroughly. A light-duty
cleaning every 3 to 6 weeks, depending on traffic, is usually sufficient.
For light cleaning of ceramic tile floors, consider the
Labor Saver Tile Floor Cleaner, in aerosol spray.
For wood floors, try Wood Floor Easy Clean Mist.
Combination floor finishes benefit from light mopping with
Multi-Floor Cleaner. For wax finishes: remove old wax films once
or twice a year, cleaning and then rinsing well, and re-wax. Wax
with Labor Saver Floor Finish, or mop and wax
at once: wood floors - Wood Floor Cleaner and Polish,
other floors - Mop & Shine 1-Step Floor Cleaner.
