Hanging Pants Correctly:  Remove belt and empty pockets. If hanging two pair on the same hanger, distribute the pants across the hanger bar and hang them in opposite directions.

Preventing Unwanted Creases:  Arrange pants so the creases are together at the front edge.  Place pants in the center of the hanger. Since hanging pants right at the knees causes more wear, hang them a few inches above or below the knees.

Preventing Stains and Mustiness:  To avoid "climate stains", mildew, musty odor or set-in spots in clothing, put away only when completely clean and dry.  If clothing has been worn, check for stains and remove with # 722 Super Spot remover before hanging.   Avoid completely enclosing clothing in plastic.   If clothing will not be worn for some time, clean (without using fabric softener) before storing.  Use of Fuller hangers, instead of wire hangers, can prevent excessive creasing or rust marks.  When storing away clothing that might be damaged by insects, treat first with # 743 Insecticide-Moth-Proofer; then clean or wash again before wearing.
