Don't over-purchase catalogs. There's no point in blanketing an area and just leaving them there. Arrange to pick up each book and take the order a day or two later. This way every catalog and brochure can serve up to 10 potential customers, and more importantly, this re-contact is the point of sale! Your kit contains brochures for the 1st month, and by reaching modest sales goals you can get free ones for your 2nd, 3rd and 4th month. The purchased kits naturally have more catalogs and brochures included. Gifts make a great impression. Going home to home or business to business, a little gift is almost a necessity to get that foot in the door. We like to put one in orders taken by phone from existing customers, too, as a "Thank You". Most gifts cost about 15¢ to 18¢ each. Take a look at some of them.
