Stay-at-Home MOMS & DADS!

Maybe you've managed to stay at home with the children so far, but need to get back into the workforce.  Or you have a job and want to quit, or need to have more control of your home and children.  Perhaps one income isn't quite making ends meet, or you're afraid your job skills will get rusty.  Yet....

Latch-key kids are at greater risk inside and outside the home.  What will you do when they are ill and your job conflicts with your need to take care of a sick child?  How will you handle the calls for teacher-parent conferences, calls for chaperones on trips, bake sales, costumes...  Maybe you're already tearing out your hair over these problems.

What about transportation for you and the children, after-school care and activities, upgrading and maintaining your wardrobe, and other costs of going back to work?

What will be the emotional and physical cost of trying to rush home in time to fix a meal, rush off to after-school or other activities and obligations, fall into bed exhausted and drag out in time to fix a nourishing breakfast, perhaps pack lunches, get yourself looking decent and rush off to business?  Day after day after day.....

What will your kids - especially pre-teens and teenagers - REALLY be up to while you're at work?

You know your children are your most valuable "possession", and therefore deserve the best care and attention.  But modern life, for most families, almost demands that both parents work.   You probably know that the majority of "work from home" offers are scams.   Fuller Brush, on the other hand, has been in business for almost 100 years, with a great reputation.

When the tots are tiny, you can snag customers on the run - shopping, neighbors, relatives, at the pediatrician's office, etc.   You can go out when hubby or another trusted relative is there to care for the babies.

Later, as they are old enough to stay alone for small periods, you can leave them watching TV, doing homework, etc. with a warning that you'll be back shortly.  Since they never know when you'll return, they'll be likely to behave themselves.

Another benefit:  in past generations, children worked alongside their parents, in the fields and farms, in their business, and they learned work ethics, the parents' own personal values and beliefs and more.   When the kids are old enough, involve them in your business - packing orders, going with you on deliveries, updating records, walking to put flyers in gates and doorways.  Naturally let them have a small share in your profits; this teaches them the value of working.

As the children grow, becoming more independent, freeing more of your time, you can decide if you wish to continue as I did and make a lucrative career with Fuller, or use your abilities to go into another field.  Meanwhile, it's a win-win situation for a stay-at-home Mom or Dad.
