10 New Year's Resolutions for getting more spending money in 2008:

1. Read through the Fuller specials brochure as soon as you receive it. Memorize the selling points of key products you like.

2. Order the demos. They're dirt cheap. Not only can you try them yourself, but then by demo or telling about your experience with an item, you'll make higher sales.

3. Buy the package of brochures with a free product. The product pretty much pays for the brochures. Use it, demo it or sell it. Distribute the brochures (see next resolution)

4. Give out the brochures, but arrange to pick them up and take the sale. Carry a little notebook and record who you left each one with and when you've arranged to pick it up. Each brochure can, on the average, serve up to 10 potential customers. That can add up to as many as 200 possible sales each month with nearly free advertising - your brochure.

5. Keep records on which customers buy what items - with their home phone numbers. Call regularly to keep in touch and see if they need anything else. Your customer records are a virtual gold mine.

6. If you don't have a web page with Fuller Direct and with our website, do it now!

7. Add a link to your Fuller Direct page on every email you send out. Insert a business card with your phone number and link to Fuller Direct in every letter you write or bill you pay.   You never know who wants to buy Fuller Brush or Stanley Home Products and doesn't have a rep.

8. Purchase a pad of "Stop" flyers R237. A pad of fifty is only $1.00 - that's 2 cents apiece. Put your phone number on each tab, cut them apart, then place the pad and some cellophane tape in your car. Post flyers anywhere you see other bulletins permitted.

9. Use the products yourself. Sure, you can get items for similar use cheaper at discount stores, but you can't get the quality, length of use, concentrated formulas and superior performance that lasts, the discount you receive, and the boost in volume it will promote, possibly leading to higher override on your sales.

10. Make a commitment that you will ask at least 3 people every week if they need some extra cash, or would like to purchase wholesale. Refer them to

CHECK BACK if you do this, and if they have decided not to go, pick the literature up to reuse. While most will not be interested, the few that come in with us will boost your income: override bonus on their sales, a possible free sweeper for you and for them, AND you can get higher discounts on your own sales. Believe me, as a long-term financial growth strategy, this is very worthwhile!
