Vegetable Rice Minestrone 1/2 cup/125 mL chopped onion In large kettle or Dutch oven, sauté onion in Onion Liquid Spice until tender. Add Rice Medley, water, Salt, tomatoes, Basil, Thyme, Italian Pepper and Garlic Powder; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in vegetables; bring to a boil. Boil gently for 6 minutes. Serve hot with a sprinkling of cheese on top. Makes 6 servings.
